Skydive Dubai

Skydive Dubai is arguably the most famous tandem skydiving destination on earth, best known for its jaw-dropping jumps over Palm Jumeirah. The operation runs two dropzones: the Palm Dropzone at Dubai Harbour — the most accessible, in-city jump, delivering unrivalled views of Palm Jumeirah, the World Islands, Ain Dubai and the Burj Al Arab — and the Desert Campus on the Dubai–Al Ain Road (E66), one of the world's largest skydiving centres, where professionals, instructors and students train and where solo/AFF progression is offered.

Tandem jumps exit at up to 13,000 ft (about 4,000 m) for roughly a minute of freefall at speeds near 190 km/h (120 mph), followed by a four-to-five-minute canopy ride over the coastline or dunes. First-timers jump tandem with a certified instructor; no experience is required (minimum age 18). Skydive Dubai was born soon after Dubai hosted its first international parachuting championship at the Palm Dropzone in 2010 and holds multiple Guinness World Records. Its team of international-champion instructors, pilots and operations crews run to elite professional standards. Mornings (around 7am) offer the coolest air and best visibility.
