These terms cover how you use jumpslut.com — the directory, the tools, and any orders you place with us. If anything's unclear, email us before you rely on it. We'd rather explain upfront than have you guess.

1. Who We Are

Jump Slut is a skydiving site operating out of Ontario, Canada. We run a free dropzone directory and planning tools (weather, spotting, wingloading, DZ display boards), and we sell skydiving apparel. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

2. The Directory and Free Tools

The dropzone directory and the planning tools are provided free and as-is. Use them, share them, run them on your DZ wall.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep the directory current — pulling from public sources, enriching with up-to-date weather and airfield data, cross-checking against published guidelines. But:

• DZ details change (hours, prices, contact info, ownership). Always confirm with the DZ directly before traveling or jumping.
• Weather data is forecast or observed third-party data (Open-Meteo, NOAA). It's accurate to the source, but no forecast is perfect, and observed data has a timestamp lag.
• The tools are decision-support aids, not authorities. See Section 3.

We don't guarantee the directory or tools are error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. If you spot something wrong, email us — we'll fix it.

3. Important: The Tools Are Not Safety Authorities

This section matters. Read it before using the wingloading calculator, the spotting tool, the weather page, the DZ board, or any future safety-related tool on this site.

• The tools are planning aids and reality-checks, not clearance, instruction, or substitutes for proper coaching.
• The wingloading calculator's green/yellow/red verdict is based on the published APF Canopy Downsizing Chart (2017) — a conservative reference guideline. Green does not mean you are cleared to jump that canopy. Always consult your Chief Instructor and a qualified canopy coach who has watched you fly.
• The spotting tool estimates wind-adjusted glide based on forecast winds aloft. Actual conditions vary; pilot decisions, off-landings, and pattern planning are not the tool's job.
• The weather page and DZ board verdicts ("jumpable," "marginal," etc.) are aids based on published wind limits and observed data. They are not a substitute for the manifest's call, your CI's judgment, or your own assessment.
• Skydiving is an inherently risky activity. You are solely responsible for your own jumps, your own gear choices, and your own decisions. Jump Slut is not a USPA, CSPA, APF, or any other regulatory body, and nothing on this site constitutes formal instruction or certification.

By using the tools, you accept that all jump-related decisions remain entirely your own and your Chief Instructor's.

4. Jerseys and Other Orders

Buying gear from us creates a sales contract under these terms.

Orders

• Placing an order is an offer; we accept it when we confirm and charge your card.
• We may decline or cancel orders (fraud detection, item unavailable, pricing error). If we cancel, you get a full refund.

Pricing

• Prices on the site are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.
• We try to keep pricing accurate, but if a clear pricing error occurs, we may correct it before shipping. We'll contact you with the corrected price; you can confirm or cancel.

Shipping

• We ship to addresses in Canada and the United States (international shipping by quote — email us).
• Standard production time for custom items (team jerseys, custom designs): currently 2–4 weeks from artwork approval. We'll communicate timelines at order.
• Stock items ship within a few business days.
• Once a parcel leaves us, transit risk passes to the carrier. We'll help track lost/damaged shipments but cannot guarantee carrier behaviour.

Returns

• Stock items (standard sizes, non-custom): returnable within 14 days of delivery, unworn, in original packaging, for a refund or exchange. Buyer pays return shipping unless we sent the wrong item.
• Custom items (team designs, personalized names, custom artwork): non-refundable once artwork is approved and production starts. We'll work with you on artwork until you approve it.
• Defects — if an item arrives defective, contact us within 14 days and we'll replace it at no cost.

Sizing

Skydiving apparel sizing differs from streetwear (cut for freefall, designed to tuck into leg straps). Use our size guide before ordering. Sizing disagreements are not defects; refer to the stock-items return policy if you need to exchange.

5. User Conduct

When you use the site, you agree not to:

• Scrape or bulk-download the directory, the tools, or any data for use elsewhere
• Reverse-engineer the tools or copy their logic for competing products
• Abuse the contact form, the alert sign-up, or any other input field
• Use the site to harass other users, DZs, vendors, or staff
• Submit false or misleading information

We may rate-limit, block, or ban access if these are violated.

We also reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate access to the site or any of its services at our sole discretion — including, without limitation, to users who have outstanding obligations to us, have previously breached an agreement with us, or whose continued access we determine to be inconsistent with the purposes of the site.

6. Intellectual Property

• Site content (writing, designs, photography, the Jump Slut wordmark and branding) is © Jump Slut. You can link to us, share posts, and reference our pages with attribution. You cannot reproduce, republish, or rebrand our content without written permission.
• Tool outputs (e.g. a screenshot of the spotting tool, the wingloading verdict, the DZ board) are for personal/non-commercial use. If you want to use them commercially (e.g. embed on your DZ's website, print in a magazine), email us — we usually say yes, we just want to know.
• User submissions (event listings, DZ corrections, etc.) — by submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and use the submission on the site.
• Third-party data (NOAA METAR, Open-Meteo forecasts, OurAirports data, Google Places data) belongs to its respective providers and is used under their terms.

7. Third-Party Links and DZ Listings

The directory lists hundreds of dropzones along with publicly-available information (addresses, phone numbers, websites, ratings). We don't operate, certify, endorse, or guarantee any DZ. Listings are not partnerships; ratings and reviews come from third-party sources (typically Google).

If you're a DZ owner and your listing has an error, email us and we'll fix it.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The site is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose, accuracy, non-infringement).
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site — including but not limited to: jump decisions made based on the tools, weather forecasting accuracy, directory inaccuracies, downtime, or third-party content.
• Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim related to the site (excluding orders) is CAD $100. For orders, our maximum liability is the price you paid for the affected order.

Some jurisdictions don't allow all of these limitations; in those cases, the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by local law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Jump Slut harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right (including but not limited to a DZ, vendor, or another user).

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Ontario, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise (e.g. for users in their own jurisdiction).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree, stop using the site.

12. Severability

If any section of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
