About Skydive Virgin Islands
Skydive Virgin Islands is the first and only skydiving operation in the US Virgin Islands — a genuine Caribbean bucket-list jump for US skydivers, with the bonus that it's US territory (no passport needed for US citizens). Born on St. Croix, it has grown to fly over St. Thomas and the British Virgin Island of Tortola as well.
Tandem jumps typically exit around 10,000–10,500 ft over impossibly turquoise water, with beach landings on St. Croix's west-end beaches — the kind of jump that headlines a Caribbean trip. The freefall views take in reef, cays and coastline; canopy rides are long and scenic over the water.
St. Croix has also drawn international attention as a host site for the STX Boogie — a Fyre Parachute traveling festival that brought Red Bull athletes, world-record holders and photographer Norman Kent to the island, with jumps from a Cessna Super Caravan and beach/brewery landings (Leatherback Brewing Company). For US jumpers wanting warm-water, white-sand skydiving without leaving US soil, the USVI is hard to beat.
