About Viva Skydive
Viva Skydive is New Mexico's only USPA-licensed skydiving center, operating year-round from Belen Regional Airport in the high desert southwest of Albuquerque. Located just 35 miles south of Albuquerque at 5,200 feet elevation, the dropzone offers tandem skydiving, IAD (Instructor-Aided Deployment) student training, and Tandem jump programs for both first-time jumpers and experienced skydivers.
The dropzone operates Cessna TU206A and Cessna 182 aircraft and provides coaching and rigging services on-site. Viva Skydive is part of the Southwest Region and maintains the highest safety standards set by the United States Parachute Association. The operation stands out as the leading skydiving dropzone in the state, holding USPA Group Member status and offering a top-notch experience across all skill levels.
For experienced jumpers, the center features Fun Jumper pricing tiers—High Jump at $33 (15,000 ft. AGL) and Low Jump at $27.50 (12,000 ft. AGL)—along with a Fun Jumper Perks program. Amenities include equipment rental and sales, load organizer services, rigging facilities, videography, and Wi-Fi. The drop zone's accessibility from Albuquerque and year-round operating schedule make it convenient for both locals and visiting skydivers.
Viva Skydive combines safety-first operations with modern amenities and personalized instruction, serving everyone from nervous first-timers to committed skydivers seeking consistent, quality jumps at a dedicated New Mexico facility.
