About Skydive Airtight
Skydive Airtight operates year-round from Skiatook Municipal Airport (2F6) in Skiatook, Oklahoma, just 20 miles north of Tulsa and 5 miles from the nearest hotel. Open six days a week with air-conditioned, locked hangars, the dropzone combines accessibility with a professional, secure facility designed for tandem skydivers, student jumpers, and experienced fun jumpers alike. According to their USPA listing, Skydive Airtight holds the distinction of being Oklahoma's #1 USPA-rated drop zone, with what the site calls "the best views in the state."
The dropzone specializes in tandem skydiving experiences, where first-time jumpers are harnessed to certified instructors for jumps from over 11,000 feet. A tandem jump costs $240, with a $60 deposit required at booking. Skydive Airtight also operates a full training program including AFF (Accelerated Freefall), IAD (static line), and tandem training for those pursuing their skydiving certification. The facility supports both aspiring sport skydivers and experienced jumpers through structured progression programs.
The on-site experience is enhanced by comprehensive media packages available for capturing the jump: photo packages ($45), video ($95), combined video and photo ($125), and an outside video and photo package ($135) that includes an aerial videographer. A deluxe tandem package with full media and instruction is offered at $490. These add-ons reflect the dropzone's emphasis on making the experience memorable and shareable.
Skydive Airtight's facilities include equipment rental and sales, packing services, rigging services, shower facilities, team rooms, and videographers on staff. Wi-Fi is available, making it convenient for groups or those spending extended time at the dropzone. The atmosphere is designed to accommodate both first-timers and the skydiving community, with professional staff available to answer questions and manage bookings.
Critical operational notes for prospective jumpers: all tandem skydivers must be at least 18 years old (on the day of the jump) and under 250 pounds; those above 250 lbs incur a $1 per pound fee. Weekday bookings are limited to one tandem passenger per flight. Weather can affect scheduling—booking times and dates are subject to change based on wind, clouds, or rain, and choosing a time slot is not a guarantee of jumping at that exact time. Jumpers should plan to arrive about 10 minutes early and allow a few hours for the complete experience.
Located at 1651 S Lombard Lane in Skiatook, Skydive Airtight operates Wednesday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern and Saturday through Sunday the same hours. The dropzone is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
