Skydive East Texas

Skydive East Texas is a family-owned skydiving facility located at Gladewater Municipal Airport in Gladewater, Texas. The dropzone has been helping people create skydiving memories for over 20 years, serving upwards of 500 jumps per year with a mission to provide a premiere, friendly skydiving experience for East Texas and surrounding areas.

The facility was founded on a personal connection to the sport. After Lee Todd and his daughter made their first jump together for her 18th birthday, they were both hooked. Lee pursued professional instruction and licensing, and he and his wife Cori established Skydive East Texas to share that same thrill with others. Many of the dropzone's customers are first-time jumpers who fall in love with skydiving just as Lee and his daughter did.

All instructors and tandem masters at Skydive East Texas are United States Parachute Association (USPA) Certified and Accelerated Freefall (AFF) trained, ensuring safe, high-quality instruction for anyone looking to experience the unique thrill of skydiving. The facility operates a Cessna 182 aircraft and is located in the Gulf Region.

For first-time jumpers, Skydive East Texas offers three tandem skydiving packages: a jump-only option at $260, a tandem experience with choice of pictures or video at $360, and a full tandem package with pictures and video at $410. These packages allow visitors to experience tandem skydiving with professional instructors at Gladewater Municipal Airport, situated 1.5 miles northeast of Longview.

Licensed skydivers have access to additional services, including Full Altitude Sport Jumps for $30, Hop & Pop jumps for $28, and gear rental (rig only) for $25.
