Skydive Orange has operated continuously in Orange, Virginia since 1977, establishing itself as Virginia's #1 skydiving destination and the largest tandem skydiving center near Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. Located at Orange County Airport (KOMH) just 80 miles southwest of Washington D.C., the dropzone combines over four decades of experience with modern facilities and a reputation for safety, professionalism, and instruction quality.

The operation centers on a Super Twin Otter aircraft, ideal for tandem and student training operations. Skydive Orange describes its atmosphere as one that "takes fun seriously"—featuring a huge padded indoor packing area, a club-like atmosphere, and an excellent, friendly instructional staff. Tandem skydiving is positioned as the perfect introduction to freefall, requiring no prior experience and including training gear, plane ride to 13,500 feet, and a jump with a USPA-rated instructor. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday discounts bring tandem costs down to $259–$289, while the regular tandem rate is $289 cash or $301 credit. The "Top of the Morning" tandem option guarantees a wait time under two hours (valid 8:00 a.m. only, Saturday and Sunday, $309–$322).

For those pursuing a skydiving license, Skydive Orange runs an Accelerated Freefall (AFF) program recognized as "one of the best on the East Coast." The AFF course follows training objectives developed by the United States Parachute Association and uses a structured progression of 25 skydives under instructor guidance.
